Harissa is used both as a condiment and as an ingredient. It has been described as the most important item in Tunisian cuisine, and can be found in other cuisines of North Africa, such as those of Morocco and Algeria. Uses include kebabs, stews, soups, salads, bland vegetables, couscous, chickpeas and cooked meats like lamb, beef or chicken.
Equagold has its own powder version blended which you can then mix with equal parts hot water and olive oil to create a great Harissa paste.
Try it as a replacement for condiments like mustard if you like your sandwiches hot! Basically, you can use this blend anywhere you desire. In the Middle East there is a folk saying that a wife who loves her husband gives him spicy food. If the food is bland, so also is her love. Available in a 40g bottle with a sprinkler top.
