Ideal for ice cream and creamy desserts this extract has been made to Equagold’s Extra Strength formula to provide even more vanilla flavour. Bourbon (not to be confused with the beverage) Vanilla owes its name to what was known as the Bourbon Islands (now the Comoros). Often described as having a straw like and more earthy fragrance, Bourbon Vanilla has a higher level of Vanillin, the chief flavouring component in Vanilla Pods.
